This new technology has a laser beam that detects hidden decay so that it can be eliminated in the early stages. It consists of a pen like probe that simply glides over the tooth surfaces to check the health of the tooth. A number scale and an alarm signal the operator when there are signs of hidden decay. It is completely safe and pain free and especially patient-friendly for children.
